Project Objectives

Key competencies of communication are a mandatory condition for the successful inclusion of teenagers of different ages from different socio-cultural backgrounds. By being aware of how different people should be addressed in different circumstances, when and where to express their opinions, it will help pupils become more aware and realistic in a time when human ties are key competencies and abilities for to prepare automated workforce in the process of developing.Our project team recognises and focuses on the value of communication skills for students as one of the most important educational objectives that helps develop students' skills to engage. The main purpose of the project is to improve pupils' communication skills.

The specific project objectives: 
-to increase awareness and communication among 300 students from 6 EU schools during a two-year project,
-to observe the communication process among these students, to improve pupils' communication
skills through the exchange of personal and cultural experiences,
-to encourage students to use ICT to communicate with impact.

This project was conceived and realized taking into account the 4 sub-stages: non-verbal and verbal communication, communication barriers, visual communication and digital communication. These sub-steps will help us produce the concrete results as:-questionnaires , logo of the project, Erasmus+ corners,1 e-booklet, 1 silent theater play, -presentations of the project partners, 6 Time Capsule Messages Boxes,6 presentations “Communicating for Understanding”, 1 common calendar, 1 common song, 1 travel manual, 1 exhibition “Create to Communicate”,6 digital stories “My country’s contribution to the European cultural heritage”, 2 webpages of the project,promotional materials: bookmarks, flyers,DVD of the project.

Development of communication skills will encourage social inclusion, making students become more tolerant and understanding than those around them, more aware of their own style of communication and behavior. All activities and interactions with colleagues in EU countries will help them develop active listening skills to understand the speaker's significance, attitude and intentions as well as the social and cultural aspects of communication. Collaboration with the 6 countries will contribute to the appreciation of national values and the importance of education and the promotion of the EU's cultural heritage.

The project is in line with the objectives of the Erasmus + Program, with horizontal priorities and with the specific priorities on the ground of strategic partnerships. The project promotes European values in accordance with Article 2 of the Treaty on European Union, as well as cultural diversity, social cohesion, geographical balance. At the same time, the project strengthens the cooperation between teacher-student-families-external stakeholders, facilitating easier transition between different stages of education .
